This place is in a beautiful location, very close to the restaurant through the patio doors, surrounded by a lovely valley, and the staff were efficient and attentive, thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Overall real good stay on a Thursday night. Clean hotel in a neat building short walk to the ‘ hippyish' nature of the locality and bridgwater, free parking & breakfast. Amazing and stunning location, in the restaurant or bar.

We enjoyed our overnight stay very much here.Friendly staff,Mark our host was welcoming and professional, beautiful views of the Somerset country side from both the patio and bedroom balcony.Clean & comfortable rooms.Food was well presented, locally sourced and value for money.Much better than Premier Travel Inn who we usually use, for a similar price.
Food quality was good but slightly bland, more imagination required with the choice and variety of dishes on offer however this is a minor criticism

Great hotel. Fantastic food though a little pricey. Sad bit was that the bar closed at 9 pm.
Hallway capetting needed hoovering. Bar closed early at 9pm.

The View!
Everything, the owners were only interested in there restaurant, the people staying at the hotel were given the back seat. They couldnt even get up at 8am to do the breakfasts, be warned!

The upstairs rooms at the back of the hotel open up onto your own private small terrace with table and chairs overlooking the Somerset countryside - lovely!
Breakfast is only served 8-9. I was down working in the local area so these times were too late for me ... I would suggest breakfast is served from 7.30am.

The view of the surrounding countryside but close enough to the motorway for easy travel around the area.
This Hotel is also an Italian Restaurant and the Pizza was very good however the noise and smell from the extractor directly outside the bedroom window meant we had to sit in a hot bedroom until after midnight when it went off. The breakfast was at best only adequate - no beans or mushrooms- in fact no choice really- bacon and egg take it or leave it.

My wife & I stayed at the Olive Mill just after it was featured on Channel 5's 'The Restaurant Inspector' (filmed about 6 months previously), who had encouraged changes to the Menu in particular. Mark and Christina have taken this advice on board wholeheartedly, are great hosts and want to go the extra mile. Our room was clean, spacious and well appointed. The view from the room and its balcony was incredible - looking over the Somerset levels to the Mendips and with the Brecon Beacons in the distance. The restaurant is now well patronised although, unfortunately we had no opportunity to eat there in the evening ourselves. Breakfast was excellent and the service good. We will be returning.
